Project MUKTA is a comprehensive and multi-pronged approach focused on prevention of and awareness about Thalassemia. Our core belief is that by empowering you, our members, with the knowledge and tools to identify carriers and provide timely counseling, we can dramatically reduce the incidence of Thalassemia in the next generation.
This project seeks to gather vital health data— Weight, Blood pressure, Blood Sugar Level with HbA1C, and Hemoglobin level —from women across India.

This initiative aligns with our shared goal of enhancing public health through preventive care, and I am confident that, with your support, we can make a significant impact in addressing cervical cancer awareness and prevention across India. 9-14 age group we will conduct the drive for increasing awareness of cervical cancer vaccination.
To lead FOGSI has been not just a responsibility, but a deeply humbling privilege. Being entrusted with the stewardship of this beautiful organization of over 47,000 gynecologists across the country is a moment of quiet pride—rooted not in position, but in service. Every FOGSI President strives to contribute meaningfully, not only for our members, but for the larger cause of maternal and women’s health in India.
